WHO is a collaborative effort among leading conservation groups, county government and nonprofit agencies in Oakland County, Michigan. WHO is working in conjunction with the National Wildlife Federation to accomplish the following goals:

- Create a network of wildlife-friendly habitats in residential yards, businesses, parks, trails and other publicly owned lands
- Raise awareness about the importance of pollinators and other indicator species
- Recognize the significant role that native plants have in fostering a healthy environment
- Certify all of Oakland County as a National Wildlife Federation Community Wildlife Habitat
Working together, we can make Oakland County’s landscape not only beautiful, but sustainable for generations.
