The Australian Outback Adventure is home to a mob of seven red kangaroos and two red-necked wallabies. Visitors can get face-to-face with the marsupials from right inside their habitat, traveling along a winding path while the animals are free to bound and graze wherever they please.
Description
Red kangaroos are the world’s largest marsupials. The male red kangaroo’s fur is a reddish-brown color. Females are also reddish-brown but their coats have a blue tint, giving them the nickname “blue flier”. They use their strong, large tails to help balance while hopping and sitting. Their short forearms are used for balance while moving. Females have pouches on their abdomens which are used to raise their young.
